I started as a volunteer at Hope’s Closet Thrift Store through the Church of Eleven22—then became one of its lead managers. I helped build a thriving operation grounded in second chances, dignity, and service to people from all walks of life.

In the private sector, I led the largest contract in my company’s history—managing millions in revenue and more than 90 employees. I know how to set a vision, build systems that work, and keep teams focused on execution and excellence.

Nonprofit Visionary and Founder

I launched a nonprofit in one of Jacksonville’s toughest neighborhoods—and over time, that mission has raised over $4 million for direct community impact. We proved that when you meet people where they are and lead with heart, transformation is possible.

Purpose-Driven Entrepreneurship

Today, I run a successful coffee company—Grounds of GRACE—with five locations and a mission to uplift our city through jobs, training, and service. It’s not just a business. It’s a movement rooted in local pride and opportunity.

From high-stakes operations to grassroots organizing, I’ve led in the real world—solving problems, managing complex budgets, and building up the people around me. I’ve done it in corporate boardrooms, nonprofit circles, and on the streets of Jacksonville.

I don’t just believe this city can be more affordable, safer, and more united—I’ve already helped prove it. Now, I’m ready to take that same energy to City Hall.

MY FAMILY

Meet the Armstrong family.

My beautiful wife and I have been married for 11 years. As our journey has been an incredible testimony of God’s grace, we are constantly reminded of how we didn’t deserve any of it but were freely given such a time as this.

Caitlin is a daughter of the king, amazing mother, minister at The Church of Eleven22, and one of the funniest people to be around. Caitlin has a gift of teaching, preaching, and writing. She loves and serves our family well. Caitlin is the rock to our family and will always go to battle for what she knows is the truth and what brings more light to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Ezekiel is our oldest. A very outgoing young man who loves sports and his friends. Zeke loves to read, draw, and he surely knows how to make us laugh.

Remington is our middle. He is the brains behind the family. We call him our mad scientist. Remington loves the creative side. He enjoys the things that are the most random. We are excited to see what his next invention will be.

Jubilee is our youngest. Jubilee is our princess. A final addition to the Armstrong family that was perfect. Everyday is a princess dress. Jubilee enjoys soccer, painting her nails, and watching bluey on her days off.

As a family, we love our city of Jacksonville. And we are thankful that we have this season together in order to be obedient to this call God has on our life.
